How to Sync the GoPhone

Syncing a GoPhone enables you to keep up-to-date files on your phone.

Media files can be transferred from a computer to a GoPhone by syncing the two devices. Media files that can be transferred include pictures, ringtones and music. You can also transfer wallpaper and other files. You can add and delete files within minutes by syncing. In order to sync a GoPhone with a computer, you do not need to download any special software outside of the drivers for the phone.

Instructions

1. Connect your GoPhone to a computer using a USB or data cable. Wait for the computer to recognize the phone. The computer should automatically download the drivers necessary for your phone to sync with the computer.

2. Click "Start," then "My Computer" and double-click the GoPhone's icon. A folder should open for the phone.

3. Locate the file containing the media you want to sync with the GoPhone.

4. Drag the file to the phone's open folder to add it to the GoPhone. Continue to drag and drop any additional files you want to add in the phone's open folder.

5. Disconnect the phone from the computer.

Tips & Warnings

• Delete files from your phone by right-clicking the file in the phone's open folder on the computer and selecting "Delete."
