How to Record Programs With a Slingbox
The Slingbox is a marvel of modern technology. By connecting your television to your Slingbox, and your Slingbox to the Internet, you can watch live programming from anywhere in the world. Fortunately for those with busy lives or unpredictable schedules, Applian Technologies offers a program called At-Large Recorder that can record the streaming video from your Slingbox onto your computer. Once recorded, you can watch these .wmv video files at your leisure.

Navigate your browser to applian.com/downloads.php and download At-Large Recorder.

Install At-Large Recorder onto your computer by following the on-screen prompts.

Launch your SlingPlayer program and tune it to any station.

Launch your At-Large Recorder program. Click the "Record" button to begin recording the video stream from SlingPlayer.

Configure your desired settings in the window that appears. You can name the program, determine how long At-Large Recorder will record and set a specific time for recording to begin. Click the "Record" button when finished.

Click the "Settings" button on At-Large Recorder to determine the quality of the recording, as well as where the recordings are saved on your computer.

Tips & Warnings
Create a folder on your desktop called "Recordings" and direct At-Large Player to drop new recordings into that folder. When you'd like to watch your programs, access the folder and select the program from the list.
Queue up multiple recordings with the "Record Later" feature. Doing so enables the program to record your desired programs when you aren't able to initiate the recording manually.
