How to Load Image Mixer on a Sony Handycam CD Onto Vista

ImageMixer is a video import program that comes with all Sony Handycam video cameras. Although you may choose to use your own video editing and importing software, it is always a good idea to install the provided program software from a manufacturer, just in case your preferred import software does not work properly with the video. You may install this program on a computer with just about any Windows operating system, including Windows Vista.

Things You'll Need

• ImageMixer CD
• Windows Vista-based computer

Instructions

1. Insert the ImageMixer CD into the disc drive of the Windows Vista-based computer. In a moment the installation wizard appears in the middle of the screen.

2. Click "Next" on the Sony welcome page, then read through and accept the license agreement.

3. Choose an installation location. You may click "Next" to accept the default setting, or click "Browse" and select your own location for the installation.

4. Select "Next" for the installation name, then click "Install" and the ImageMixer software for your Sony HandyCam video camera installs onto the Windows Vista computer.
