      Following the instructions for the specific brand of belt sander being used, remove the sand paper.

      Spray compressed air over the roller to remove any debris or dust. Roll the rollers with your fingers to move them, while continuing to spray. Spray the outside and inside of the rollers.

      Rub a sandpaper cleaner block over any remaining residue. A sandpaper cleaner block feels like an eraser and picks up sawdust and sandpaper residue.
