How to Delete Address Bar History in Opera

The Opera address bar keeps a record of all the Web addresses that you type into it, which means that when you later begin typing letters into the address bar, previously typed addresses will pop up in a drop-down list as suggested websites. If you share a computer or don’t want other people to be able to track the websites you’ve visited on the Internet, then you should delete the address bar history in Opera in order to preserve your privacy.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your Opera browser. Click “File.”

    • 2

      Click “Preferences.” Click “History.”

    • 3

Click “Clear” next to “Typed in.” Your address bar history is deleted.
