1
Format your book report. Put the name of author, your name, the subject of the biography and the full title of the book at the top of your book report. This will enable your teacher to quickly understand the essential information about your book report. Additionally, it will enable your teacher to give you a grade for your hard work.
-
2
Summarize the life of the biography's subject. Put the person's date of birth, key life events, interesting facts and date of death if applicable. This will provide a timeline of the person's life.

Dig into the subject matter. Think about what you would ask the person if you could meet her, and write down these questions in your book report. Talk about what you think this person would be like in today's society. Teachers love to hear students apply their reading to their own modern-day circumstances. This thought process shows the sign of a truly engaged learner.

4
Make a recommendation. Talk about whether or not you would suggest for another student to read this book. This will show your teacher you not only care about your own learning, but also about the happiness of your fellow classmates.

Tips & Warnings
Read the biography. Avoid the temptation to watch a movie or read an online article about the person. An author took an extensive amount of time to research the biography they wrote. While you may be able to obtain a basic understanding of the person without reading the biography, you will be doing yourself and the author a disservice by not reading the biography. Your teacher may also consider this a form of cheating.
