How to Become a Maryland Bail Bond Agent
Bail agents in Maryland earned an average of $26,000 per year in 2010, according to Indeed.com. These agents post bail for those sent to jail. Over time, bail agents can learn to perform skip tracing and work as bounty hunters. The state of Maryland regulates the bail industry; all potential bail agents must become licensed with the state and pass an insurance exam before they can begin working as agents.
