How to Make Money Growing Vegetables in Greenhouses
Greenhouses are great buildings for growing vegetables in a safe, contained way. Using a greenhouse prevents many of the common gardening problems, such as weather and animal damage. Some greenhouse gardeners earn money by selling the fruits and vegetables they grow in their greenhouses.

Building four greenhouses Search for a location that has adequate drainage, few trees, and room to build one or more greenhouses. The land should also have an energy and water source available to it. Look for land that is near where you plant o sell the vegetables, a mid-sized city is a good choice.

Growing plants inside a greenhouse Begin choosing what vegetables you will grow and plant them. Some choose to focus on only a small selection of crops that are both easy to grow and require little care. If you plan to also eat the vegetables grown you may want a wider selection.

Farmer with basket of apples Choose which market you will be selling your greenhouse vegetables at. Some choose to sell vegetables at a local farmers market. Greenhouse growers may also sell from a roadside stand or sell directly to customers. Some communities have Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) groups where several farmers sell together to interested customers.

Selling vegetables When the vegetables are ready to harvest, begin selling them at your chosen market. Look at the prices other farmers are selling at to determine what much to charge.
