How to Find People on Yahoo! Locator
Locating people on Yahoo! is easiest using the Yahoo! People Search locator tool. This allows you to find people using their first and last name or phone number. Yahoo! will scour the web for results that meet your search criteria. Yahoo! is aligned with Intelius, an independent provider of search information. Intelius will provide additional information for a fee. Their reports can include information concerning the person's location, average income and relatives.

Find U.S. Phone and Address

Go to Yahoo! People Search (see Resources).

Enter the first and last name, city and state of the person you are looking for in the corresponding fields under "U.S. Phone and Address".

Hit the "Search" button. A list of search results matching your entry will be listed. For instance, if the person registered on a website like Classmates.com, the page will be listed in the results. You can then sign up for a membership on such a site so you can contact the person you have been looking for.

Look up more results by selecting "Search intelius.com" next to the entry at the top of the results page. Intelius will search public records and return a match based on your entry. Look at the details of the match, such as relatives and age, and select "View Details".

Order an Intelius report. This step is optional. You can order the basic People Search Report which includes the person's age, date of birth, address and phone number for $0.95. You can order a 24 Hour Pass for $14.95 which will allow you to look up as many names as you want within that time. You can order a more detailed Background Report which will give you additional information such as judgments, lawsuits, criminal background, property, average income, divorce and marriage records for $39.95. You will be required to pay using a debit or credit card.

Go to Yahoo! People Search (see Resources).

Enter a phone number (area code included) of the person you are looking for under "Reverse Phone #" in Yahoo! People Search. Hit the "Search" button.

Look through the results for the phone number. There may be no results, or a couple depending upon whether the phone number is listed. Click on the result. You will be redirected to the Intelius website.

Click the "View Details" button.

Order a Phone Report for $0.99 (as of 2010) with a debit or credit card. The report includes the person's name, average income, address and relatives.
Email Search

Go to Yahoo! People Search (see Resources).

Enter the person's first and last name in the corresponding fields under "Email Search" in Yahoo! People Search. Hit the "Search" button.

Look through the results. Only five email addresses registered to persons with that name will be listed. If any of those five seems like it might belong to the person you seek, you can send an email to the address listed. If not, press the "More" button to browse additional results. The email addresses will be blocked out, but the name and location of the individual who registered the address are visible.

Order an Instant Email Lookup Report from Intelius for $1.95 (as of 2010) with a debit or credit card. The report will include a complete list of all email addresses that were registered to persons with that name along with the location they entered when they first signed up for the email address. You can browse the report for an email address that might belong to the person you seek.
