How to Apply Liquid Eyeliner With a Wing
Applying eyeliner can increase the effect of mascara and eye shadow, making your eyes more pronounced and attractive. You can use eyeliner on its own to create a glamorous style. Liquid eyeliner is the best for making even, solid lines, which are necessary when creating certain effects such as the wing. This is done by extending the line of eyeliner past your eyes, towards your temples. This creates a small, dramatic wing detail. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Stand or sit so you have a good view of your eye in the mirror.
-
2
Hold the felt-tipped applicator of the eyeliner at the center of your upper eyelid. Get the tip as close to your lash line as possible.
-
-
3
Slowly drag the applicator along the lash line. Move outward, away from your nose. Stop applying the eyeliner when you get to the crease by your upper and lower lids.
-
4
Wet the applicator and place the tip in the inner corner of your lid.
-
5
Move the tip along your lash line until you meet the first line that you made. Blend the lines together if the gap is noticeable.
-
6
Wet the tip again and move the applicator to the outer corner of the lids. Continue the line of eyeliner until it is just past the crease of your eyelids.
-
7
Draw another line from the outer corner of the lower lid to the end of the upper line. This should create a sideways V, which opens toward the eye.
-
8
Fill in the 'V' until there is no exposed skin in that area. The wind should be completely blacked out. Repeat all steps on the other eye.
