How to Get Rid of Acne Pocks
Acne pocks occur after an acne lesion has healed, leaving a red, purple or flesh-colored mark. Boxcar scars are acne pocks with round or oval-shaped depressions in the skin and steeply angled sides that resemble chicken pox scars. These are the result of an inflamed acne lesion destroying skin tissue, leaving a hole or sunken area on the skin. A diet rich in fruits, vegetables and whole grains and drinking lots of water can heal pocks and keep your skin clear. Vitamin E oil, Aloe Vera gel and lemon juice are three natural treatments for acne pocks. Does this Spark an idea?

Always use sterilized needles to prick open vitamin E capsules. Apply vitamin E oil to pocked skin at night. Massage the oil into the skin as you would a moisturizer. Vitamin E oil comes in lotion or capsule form. Prick a capsule open with a sterilized needle and apply contents to the skin. Sleep on an old pillowcase to avoid staining pillows. Vitamin E oil promotes healing and is considered one of the best natural remedies for pocked skin. Taking vitamin E internally can also help with scarring.

Tips & Warnings
Depending on their severity, scarring pocks can take weeks or years to heal on their own. Because of their regenerative properties, rosehip seed oil and lavender essential oil are two other natural remedies for acne pocks. Lavender essential oil is very gentle and can be used on more sensitive skin.
Drinking a lot of water helps considerably with acne pocks since your skin needs hydration to shed skin cells and build new ones properly. A balanced diet high in fruit, vegetables and whole grains also contributes to reversing acne pocks since a healthy body heals itself much more quickly.
Do not pick at acne scabs. Removing a scab before it's ready disrupts the healing process and can lead to scarring.
Those with sensitive skin should use precaution when applying lemon juice to pocks because it can sting and sometimes burn skin.
