How to Add Bluetooth to MSI Wind
Wind laptops are a family of inexpensive ultra-portables from MSI Mobile. Designed to be lightweight and use little power, most models of Wind laptops do not include an internal Bluetooth adapter. If you want to use Bluetooth devices like wireless mice, speakers or smartphones with your MSI Wind, you'll need to install a Bluetooth adapter. Once that's done, you'll be able to set up a wireless office wherever you go.

1
Insert the USB Bluetooth adapter into one of the Wind's empty USB slots. You may have to remove another USB device to free up a slot.
-
2
Insert the installation CD that came with the adapter and follow the on-screen instructions to complete driver installation. Windows may have installed default drivers when you originally inserted the USB adapter into the computer. These drivers usually work just fine, but you can install the drivers supplied by the manufacturer over top of them if you like.

Pair a Bluetooth device with your computer to get started. Place the device in "discovery" mode, then click the "Add a device" button in the "Devices and Printers" window, which you can open from the "Start" menu. Select your device from the list, enter it's security pass key--"0000" for most devices--and click "OK." Check the device's manual for instructions on how to place it in "discovery" mode.
