How to Make a Flash Movie Into a Dreamweaver CS3 Button

The Adobe Dreamweaver application is useful for managing websites and adding interactive objects to different pages. For example, a Flash video can be added to a page as an embedded movie clip or you can create a Flash button that links to your video. In order to insert your Flash button, you select the options that meet your preferences from the Insert Flash Button dialog box. Adding a Flash button also helps to add more interactivity for viewers of your website.

Instructions

1. Open the Adobe Dreamweaver file on your computer to which you want to insert a Flash button.

2. Click within the document where you want your Flash button to appear.

3. Click on the "Insert" option from the top toolbar menu and then click on the "Media" option.

4. Click on the "Flash Button" option and then the Insert Flash Button dialog box will appear on the screen. Select the location for the Flash video to which you want the button to link.

5. Click on the "Apply" button in the dialog box and the Flash button will be automatically inserted into your document.
