How to Upload Files to the Testing Server Instead of the Remote in Dreamweaver 8

With the Adobe Dreamweaver application, you can create a website and manage the various sections of your Web page. When viewing a file, you can save it to a remote server or testing server using the Files panel. This option allows you to save you file on your current computer and then transfer the file to another location. However, you must make sure to specify if you want the file sent to the testing server instead of the remote server.

      Open the Adobe Dreamweaver file on your computer and then click on the "Window" option.

      Click on the "Files" option and then the Files panel will appear at the top of the page.

      Click on the "Put" button from the Files panel. Click on the "Yes" button from the dialog box that appears if you want to save the file on your computer before putting on the testing server.

      Select the testing server for the files to be uploaded to from the drop-down menu.

      Click on the "Yes" button and the files will be transferred to your testing server. Stop the file transfer at any time by clicking on the "Cancel" button.
