      Boil some water in a small pot. Bring it to the concrete floor and pour it slowly over the adhesive residue. Soak only a manageable section to begin, leaving it to set for 10 to 15 minutes.

      Scrape the majority of the vinyl adhesive with a long-handled scraper. The tool minimizes the need to strain or crouch, easing the removal process.

      Scrape the remaining adhesive once it has been dissolved and softened. Loosen it from the concrete with the long-handled scraper.
