How Do You Wash a Plastic Shower Curtain Liner?
A plastic shower curtain liner is an effective bathroom item, as it is inexpensive and keeps water in the shower area as you use the shower. This type of liner prevents water from escaping onto the floor and splashing onto your bathroom walls. Over time, soap scum and mildew accumulate on the plastic shower curtain liner. Replace the liner every year or so, but in between, you can keep the shower curtain looking its best with an inexpensive cleaning routine. Does this Spark an idea?

Remove the shower curtain liner from your shower area. If any mold is present, place the liner in the bathtub. Pour 1 cup bleach into the tub, and fill the tub halfway with warm water.

Let the liner soak for 1 hour, then drain the tub. Turn on the shower to rinse the shower curtain liner thoroughly.

Place the shower curtain liner in the washing machine and turn the machine on with a warm water cycle.

Pour 1 cup vinegar into the washing machine along with your normal portion of laundry detergent.

Remove the shower curtain liner after the wash cycle completes, and hang it back in your shower to dry.
