How to Change Outlook Express to Open With a 32-Bit & Not a 64-Bit

Outlook Express (OE) is the default email client for the Microsoft Windows XP operating system. It is typically included with Internet Explorer versions 4.0 through 6.0. With OE, you can send and receive emails, schedule appointments and tasks on your calendar and store contacts among many other things. If you want to open a 64-bit Outlook Express in 32-bit, you will need to access your Windows command prompt.

Instructions

    • 1

Click on Start and select "Run."

    • 2

Type "cmd" without the quotes and press "Enter."

    • 3
