Tips & Warnings
Although no licensing/certification is required, you can still apply for National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators certification once your training is complete. By adding an NCCCO certification to your name, it can put you ahead of job applicants who don't hold a certification. For more information about becoming NCCCO certified, you can visit the NCCCO website.
