How to Print File Folder Games
File folder games are usually matching games that can be played by one or two people. You can assemble a file folder game by printing the content for the game on paper then cutting and pasting the content inside a folder. The pieces for the game are usually cut out and stored in a zip-lock-style bag that is either stapled or taped to the back of the folder. Both folder and pieces can be laminated for long-term use.
File folder games can be used in learning centers or as follow-up activities. They are a great way to differentiate the curriculum or to practice skills. Many file folder games can be self-correcting by color-coding the questions and answers or by including an answer sheet for students to use to check their own work.
