1
Unplug your brass chandelier or shut off the power, to avoid electrocution. If you are unable to disconnect from the power source, place plastic bags over the light bulbs. This will protect you and your light fixture.
-
2
Run a dry, soft cloth over the brass surfaces to remove any dust particles. This helps maintain the quality and condition of the brass.
-
-
3
Apply the commercial brass cleaner of your choice to the cloth. Make sure to wipe the cleaner over every visible surface to ensure complete coverage.
-
4
Spray lacquer onto your chandelier to create a shield. The lacquer keeps the brass from being exposed to sulphur dioxide and tarnish from forming.
-
