How to Reset a Zenith Universal Remote
Zenith is a company known for manufacturing universal remotes. Universal remotes are remotes that you can program to any television, cable box or DVD player. Like a regular remote, you can reset a previous configuration stored in its memory. The way you reset the configuration is by programming a new device into its memory to take its place.

Power on the television, cable box or DVD player you want to program instead of a previous configuration.

Locate the program code for your device. (See Resources)

Depress the "Code Search" button on your remote and hold it until a light turns on at the top of your remote.

Press the key specific to your type of device. For example, if you are programming your television, press the "TV" button and let go.

Enter the program code.

Press the power button. If successful, the device will shut off, and the previous configuration will be gone. Use other codes on the list if unsuccessful.
