How to Open a Motorola V60 Phone

The Motorola V60 is a discontinued cellular phone released in 2001. Like most phones, it must be opened before anything such as a battery or SIM card can be installed. Before you can open the phone, find the release button on top edge of the handset.

Instructions

1. Push down the release latch on the top of the phone.

2. Pull off the back cover.

3. Lift the battery from the bottom and slide the top of it out from under the tab at the top of the phone.

Tips & Warnings

• To replace the back cover, insert the tabs on the bottom of it into the bottom of the phone and then press down on the top of the cover until it snaps into place.
