Instructions

    • 1

Rinse your lobster tails under cold water.

    • 2

Set your lobster tails on a cutting board with the soft part of the shell facing up. Cut straight down the middle of the soft shell with a set of food scissors. The meat will stay in place because it is still attached to the hard shell on the other side.

    • 3

Melt some butter and add your favorite seasoning to it. You can melt the butter in the microwave or over the stove. Mix the butter and seasoning.

    • 4

Brush the butter mixture generously over the lobster meat with the basting brush. Set it aside until your grill is ready--preheat the grill to medium-high heat, and clean and oil the grill racks.

Tips & Warnings

  • You'll want to grill your lobster tails for about five minutes on each side.

  • Use any remaining butter mixture on the lobster during the cooking process.

  • Oil your grill rack before you grill the lobster so the meat won't stick to it.
