How to Debug Shockwave Flash
ShockWave Flash or SWF is a file format for animated or flash-based movies that you can embed on websites. If your ShockWave Flash movie doesn't play properly or doesn't play at all, you can try a few debugging methods until the problem is solved.

Enable Shockwave Flash Object

Click the "Start" menu and select "All Programs."

Click to launch "Internet Explorer." Click the "Tools" menu.

Click "Manage Add-ons."

Click "Shockwave Flash Object." You will find this entry in the "Disabled" section.

Select the button "Enable."

Select the button "Update ActiveX."

Relaunch Internet Explorer. Navigate to the website that has the Shockwave file embedded in it. The Shockwave file (SWF) should play without any errors.
Install Shockwave Player

Install Shockwave Player, if you still experience problems.

Click the button "Agree and install now."

Select "Run" when the download dialog box appears. Follow on-screen prompts to complete the download.

Relaunch Internet Explorer.

Navigate to the website that has the Shockwave file embedded in it. The Shockwave file should play without any errors.
Use Windows Flash Player 10.1 ActiveX Control Content Debugger

Navigate to Adobe Flash Player Support Center, if the problem persists.

Click the link "Download the Windows Flash Player 10.1 ActiveX control content debugger (for IE)" under the subheading "Windows."

Select "Run" when you see the download dialog box. Follow on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Relaunch Internet Explorer after the installation is complete. The Shockwave file will now play without any errors.
