How to Fold a Do Rag

Do-rags are fashionable but also serve a purpose. Do-rags worn while sleeping keep the hair in place, especially when a particular hair style needs to be maintained. Bikers choose to wear do-rags to keep their hair in place, keep bugs from blowing into their hair, and to absorb sweat. Learning how to fold and wrap the do-rag correctly will keep it securely on your head. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Place the do-rag on the top of the head to cover the hair. If there is a seam, position the seam to run down the center of the head. The ties should hang down the back.

    • 2

Grip a tie in each hand and cross at the back of the neck. Draw the ties up to the forehead and cross the ties across the forehead.

    • 3

Bring the ties to the back of the neck and tie in a knot.

    • 4

Adjust the do-rag at the forehead so it is positioned between the eyebrows and the middle of the forehead.

    • 5

Twist the two ties and twirl, then wrap around the knot. Neatly tuck the end under the do rag. The ties can also be left hanging.
