How to Turn Off the LED Light on a Blackberry Pearl
The BlackBerry Pearl's LED light, located on the top of the device, flashes four different colors to indicate various statuses. Green indicates that you are in a wireless coverage area, while blue indicates connection to a Bluetooth device. When your BlackBerry Pearl flashes red, it means that you have a new message. Amber light indicates a low battery power level. The only way to turn off the amber LED light is by plugging in your device to charge, but there are simple steps to turn off the other LED notifications.

Click "Options" from the Home screen of the device or from a folder.
