How do I Set Up a Leisure Bay Above Ground Pool?
Leisure Bay Industries is a pool retailer located in Orlando, Florida. They have been around since 1974 and have been successful in the above-ground pool industry ever since. Installing a Leisure Bay pool uses the same process as installing pools from most above-ground pool manufacturers. One of the most installed types of above-ground pools has a solid frame and soft pool walls. The pool liner drops into this frame for easy installation. This type of pool is easy to set up in one to two days. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Measure out the area where you intend to install the pool. Make sure to check local regulations and building codes before setting up the pool to make sure your chosen site is a suitable installation site. Mark out the dimensions of the pool with a long rope simulating the placement of the pool.
-
2
Check the level of the ground. Dig out the higher spots to match the lowest part of the yard until the ground is level. This is the best way to prevent the pool from collapsing. Use a tamp to press the ground back into place after digging. Cover the entire area with about 2 inchs of crushed stone.

3
Count the number of frame posts the pool has, and measure the distance between them. Dig small holes around the perimeter of the pool, one for each post, and place a patio stone in each hole. This will help support the pool and keep the posts from sinking into the ground unevenly.
-
4
Build the pool frame. Make sure to place each frame foot on a patio block. Most Leisure Bay pools use plastic or metal nuts and bolts to hold the frame together. Assemble the frame starting from the bottom and working up.
-
5
Connect the pool walls to the frame. Usually small connectors or tracks help connect the walls to the pool frame. Slowly walk around the inside perimeter of the pool and unroll the wall of the pool as you slide the wall into the track on the frame. Cover any seam edges with duct tape.
-
6
Lay the base cove molding between the bottom edge of the wall and the floor covered in crushed stone. This cove protects the edges of the liner from getting torn or damaged.
-
7
Set the liner inside the middle of the pool. Unfold the liner and locate the bottom seam edges. Stretch out the liner so that the seam edges meet the pool wall. Attach the liner to one spot on the wall, then attach it to the opposite side of the wall. Continue to attach the liner on opposite sides until the entire liner is attached to the wall. Smooth out any remaining wrinkles.
-
8
Snap the top cover of the pool walls into place and fill the pool with water.
