Wash your face with a mild cleanser. Then, steam it for several minutes with a bowl of hot water. Place a towel over your head while steaming to open your follicles and prepare your skin for deep cleaning.

2
Make a mask to remove dirt, oil and impurities from your skin. Mix 1 tablespoon of china clay, also known as kaolin clay, and one-half teaspoon of jojoba oil, vegetable glycerin, olive oil and water. Form a paste, leave it on for 10 or 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. China clay is a fine, fluffy powder clay that swells in water and makes a great thickening ingredient. It helps stimulate circulation to the skin while gently exfoliating and cleansing it. For dry skin, mix 1 teaspoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel. Squeeze the contents of a vitamin E capsule into the mixture and stir. Leave it on your face for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse with warm water.

Apply an herbal toner with a cotton ball to remove the mask residue. Make the toner with one-half cup of water, one-half cup of witch hazel, 2 facial tea bags and 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel. Boil the water and witch hazel, turn off the heat and steep the tea bags for 5 to 10 minutes. Let the mixture cool, remove the tea bags and mix in the aloe vera gel. Put some of the mixture on a cotton ball and wipe your face with it. When combined with steaming, the herbs and botanical properties in the tea bags will increase blood circulation and soften your skin. Refrigerate the remaining mixture. Use your favorite moisturizer to hydrate your skin.
