How to Unstuff a Stuffit File
Stuffit software compresses a variety of software file types to make the transfer or storage of large files possible. Not all files require compression as some formats, such as an MP3 file, are already compressed. When a file has been compressed with Stuffit for windows or Mac, look for a .SIT extension at the end of the "stuffed file". To decompress or "Unstuff" a Stuffit file, use Stuffit Expander software, available for both MacIntosh and Windows platforms.
