If you're tired of manually entering or updating contact information on your iPhone, you can sync your Microsoft Outlook contacts with your phone to save time. Managing Outlook contacts with your iPhone does require Apple iTunes to complete the synchronization process. Changes made to your Outlook contacts continuously sync each time you connect your iPhone to your computer after the initial setup, to provide up-to-date contact information in your iPhone.

Instructions

      Connect the Apple USB cable to your iPhone, then connect the other end to your computer's USB port. Place your iPhone on the Apple Universal Dock and connect it to your computer if you don't have a USB cable. iTunes will launch automatically once you connect your iPhone to your computer.

      Click "iPhone" in the source list underneath "Devices" in iTunes, then click the "Info" tab.

      Choose "Sync contacts from" in Contacts, then press "Outlook."

      Select "All contacts" to sync all of your Outlook contacts to your phone, or choose "Selected groups" to sync specific contacts.

      Press "Apply" to complete the sync.

  • Press "Ctrl" as you click individual group names to select multiple groups at a time.
