How to Activate T-Mobile to Go
T-Mobile offers prepaid cell phones called T-Mobile to Go phones. You can choose from several calling and texting plans, or you can choose to pay as you go. Unlike a regular T-Mobile phone, T-Mobile to Go phones do not require a contract or an age requirement. You can activate your new prepaid phone online by using the activation card and SIM card that came with your phone.

Visit the prepaid activation page on the T-Mobile website and select a rate plan for your new phone.

Locate the activation code on the activation card included with your T-Mobile to Go phone and enter it in the form. Enter any other personal information about your birth date and area code. Find the 19-digit SIM Card Serial Number on the small card that held your SIM card. Leave off the "F" when you enter it on the T-Mobile website. Remove the battery from the back of your phone and find the 15-digit IMEI number. Enter the IMEI number and a 4-digit pin number that you create.

Click "Activate Phone" to start the activation process. You will receive a text message with your new phone number when activation completes.
