How to Prepare Ribeye Steak
A ribeye steak is one of the most delicious varieties of beef. You can grill, broil or pan-sear a ribeye and season it a number of different ways. Marinate it to produce a mouthwatering taste. Ribeye steaks often go well with peppers, mushrooms and red wine. The trick is to cook it just right while retaining the juices. Things You'll Need
- 1/4 tsp. coarse black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 4 tbsp. olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 ribeye steaks
- Small saucepan
- Gas grill
- Cooking brush
- Grill tongs

Stir the salt, pepper, olive oil and garlic in the saucepan over low heat on a stovetop. Preheat the grill to medium heat.

Coat the steaks in the mixture with a brush. Coat both sides thoroughly.

Place the steaks on the grill and close the lid.

Flip the steaks after approximately 4 to 5 minutes. Continue cooking until the steak is cooked to your desired level. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer, sticking the pointed end into the middle of the steak.

Serve with vegetables, bread rolls and red wine.

Tips & Warnings
Medium-rare for beef is 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cook the steaks on a stovetop frying pan if you do not have access to a grill.
Undercooked meat can cause food-borne illness.
