How to Make the Font Large on Ubuntu

The default font configuration for the open source Ubuntu operating system is 10-point Sans. For users with high resolution monitors or visual impairments, this font configuration is simply too small. Ubuntu makes it easy to increase the font size system wide in order to improve visibility for those users who require larger fonts for reading. The font configuration will only apply at the system level in dialog boxes, menus, icon labels, Terminal and documents. Increasing the font size in your Web browser requires changing the settings of Firefox.
