      Click "Run," type "regedit" and click "OK." If you have Windows 7 or Vista, simply type "msconfig" into the search bar at the bottom of the "Start" menu.

      Access the following location: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies."

      Access the "System" folder. Click on "DisableTaskMGR," change the value to zero and click "OK."
