Meta Crawler is a search engine that retrieves and consolidates listings from other major search engines such as Google, Yahoo! and Bing (formerly MSN). Meta Crawler filters the search and removes duplicate listings and lists sites based on previous search history and other analytical information. In doing so, users are able to get the most relevant websites for their targeted search. In order to have your website included in Meta Crawlers search results, you must add your site to the major search engines Meta Crawler pulls information from.

Tips & Warnings

  • Employ good SEO techniques to improve your search engine rankings.

  • Always include "http://" at the beginning of your URL for accuracy.

  • Add your site twice to each search network, once without the "www" prefix and once with it.

  • Just because you submit your URL to the different search engine doesn't guarantee that the search engine will index or rank it.
