Apple Mail makes checking and sending email easy.

Apple Mail is a free program that comes with Mac OSX. This program allows you to manage your email. The program syncs the mail on your computer's hard drive with the mail in your email account. For those who have never set up an email program on their computer, a little additional help may be required. Still, the program is user friendly. Even if you have little experience working with computers, you should have your Apple Mail set up in no time.

Instructions

This will vary depending on your email provider, however the information will be found on your email provider's website. The outgoing server will be either an IMAP or POP server, while the incoming server will be an SMTP server.
