Instructions

    • 1

Combine approximately 4 cups of warm water with 2 tbsps. of white vinegar inside a bowl. Add another tablespoon of vinegar when dealing with darker perspiration stains.

    • 2

Sprinkle roughly 1 to 2 tsps. of baking soda over the perspiration stains. The exact amount of baking soda depends on the size and darkness of the stain.

    • 3

Rub the baking soda, water and vinegar into the clothing item gently with a soft-bristled toothbrush.

    • 4

Hang the clothing items for 30 minutes. If possible, hang the items outside in sunlight, which helps lift perspiration stains.

    • 5

Place the stained items into the washing machine. Add 1 cup of oxygenated laundry detergent into the machine. The oxygenated detergent, like the sunlight, will help lift stains.

    • 6

Wash all of the items on a cold washing machine cycle. Hang the clothes in the sun, if possible. Otherwise, dry the items inside your dryer.
