1
Turn the phone off if there seems to be radio or television interference. If the problem improves when the phone is turned off, find a location for the phone that is farther away from the television or radio, preferably one on a different circuit or outlet.
-
2
Ensure the power cord is plugged in firmly to the phone base and to a working power outlet if there is no dial tone. Set the phone in the base and recharge for at least 16 hours for proper usage.
-
-
3
Turn the handset ringer switch to "ON" if the phone does not ring. Move the phone closer to the base and try unplugging other extensions if several extensions are connected to the same line.
-
4
Charge the battery and make sure that the base is not plugged into an outlet with another appliance if static or noise occurs during use.
-
5
Clean the phone and the base with a clean, soft cloth if the unit beeps repeatedly. Charge the battery for at least 16 hours.
-
6
Unplug the phone base and remove the battery from the phone if the phone locks up or there is no communication between the base and the phone. Wait 30 seconds and then replace the power cord. Reset the battery into the phone and charge for 16 hours.
