The Canon ImageRunner C4580i is a digital copier that can produce copies in color and black and white. It produces black and white copies at 45 pages per minute and color copies at 40 pages per minute. It also may be configured as a network printer, scanner or fax machine. It no longer is manufactured by Canon.

Instructions

      Load documents face up in the document feeder. The document feeder holds up to 50 sheets of 8-inch-by-11-inch paper.

      Designate color, black and white or auto color for your copies. If your documents contain color and you want to print color copies, press the "Auto Color" or "Full Color" button on the front of the copier.

      Set copy options.Options include two-sided copying, stapling, collating, reduction and enlargement. Pressing the menu buttons on the touch-screen display will bring up the items for each copy option. You also will find other options under the "Additional Functions" button.

      Use the keypad to enter the number of copies or sets to print.

      Press the green "Start" button.This will start the copying process by pulling the original documents through the document feeder, where they are scanned into memory. Once scanned, copying will begin. Depending on the configuration of the C4580i and the options set, copies should appear in the tray on the copier's right side.
