Get your device working again by reinstalling the device drivers.

Corrupt device drivers on your computer system can be very annoying to say the least. Most of these drivers control the sound cards, graphics cards, and USB ports of your Windows computer. When your device drivers aren't working, you will not be able to access the devices on your computer. The best way to get your drivers back is to uninstall them and then allow the computer to reinstall them automatically.

Instructions

    • 1

Click "Start" and then go to the "My Computer" icon.

    • 2

Right click on it and select "Manage" from the menu.

    • 3

Scroll down the menu to "Device Manager" and then go over to your device.

    • 4

Right click on the device and select "Uninstall" from the menu.

    • 5

Click "Yes" in the next box and then click "Restart."

    • 6

Allow the computer to restart and automatically reinstall the correct drivers for your device.
