Riding a manual scooter is easy and can be accomplished by everyone. A manual scooter is one without a motor, relying strictly on the driver for propulsion. Also known as a kick scooter, the manual scooter is a basic riding scooter with a solid handlebar, with or without brake levers, and usually with two wheels. Because it's extremely portable, these scooter have become popular among kids and adults alike. Children use them around their neighborhoods for independent transportation, whereas adults favor manual scooters for quick and easy commuting.

Instructions

      Grip the handlebars with both hands.

      Step on the platform with one foot, while keeping the other grounded.

      Push off of the ground with the one foot to propel yourself forward, while balancing the scooter and yourself with your other foot on the platform.

      Use your handlebars for steering. By leaning with the bike in a certain direction, you can create sharper turns.

      Pull the brake levers on the handlebars towards you to stop, or place one foot on the ground and use it as an anchor to stop the motion.
