How to Open a Garmin C330
It's often difficult to take apart GPS units. GPS's are expensive and opening the unit could cause irreparable damage if you don't know what you're doing. A thing as simple as a cracked screen will render the unit virtually useless. Manufacturers recommend that GPS's are only worked on by professionals. However, if you really want to open up a Garmin, the C330 is an easy model to work with.

Pry the front cover off the GPS with a flathead screwdriver. Be gentle because you don't want to cause damage to the cover.

Remove the four screws with a Phillips screwdriver. The case will now come apart.

Assemble the case back to its original configuration.

Re-install the four Phillips screws into the unit.

Snap the front cover back into place.

Use gentle hands when opening the GPS, the use of excessive force could damage it.
Opening the GPS may void the manufacturers warranty.
