How to Craft Brooch Pins
Brooches add sophistication and style to outfits. Instead of spending hours searching for the perfect brooch, you can easily craft your own. Not only will you save money, you can design it to fit your specific style. The needed materials are inexpensive and available at most craft stores. Once you create your first brooch, you can create many others to add to your brooch collection and give as gifts.

Cut the beading wire to the desired length.

Insert one end of the wire into one of the holes in the brooch pin and tie a knot into the wire to secure it to the pin.

Slide the beads onto the wire in the order you desire.

Insert the end of the wire into the empty hole in the brooch pin and tie.

Slide charm onto the jump ring.

Hang the jump ring around a wire on the brooch. Center it for a balanced look.

Close the jump ring by pinching the ends together.

Adjust the beads. You may have rearranged them when you inserted the jump ring.

Tips & Warnings
Use only beads for a simpler look.
Use extreme care when using the wire cutter. Wire cutters require a little more force than scissors, so make sure to keep your fingers out of the way.
