1
Place small pieces of masking tape on the four corners of your paper. This prevents it from moving as you draw, which can smear the lead in your pencil or the colors from your markers or crayons.
-
2
Draw a medium-sized circle on your paper. This will be his body. Sketch very lightly, as you will later erase the pencil markings.
-
-
3
Draw four small lines to represent his arms and legs. These should be straight lines indicating their location but not their depth. Also add a small rectangle underneath the circle to give his lower body more of a rectangular shape.
-
4
Draw two small arches on top of the circle to create his nose. The curve of the arches should connect and face downward. Draw two lines in a V shape above the nostril to represent his eyes. Draw a few black lines on the side of his nose to make his whiskers.
-
5
Draw two parallel lines along the length of the circle. These lines represent the opening of his mouth. Sketch a tongue coming out of his mouth at the bottom of the circle.
-
6
Add the details. These details include rounding out his eyes, completing his arms and legs, drawing some hair around the eyes and mouth, adding teeth to the mouth, drawing his eyes and adding eyebrows. These details should all be done with pencils and made with quick short lines and small circles.
-
7
Trace all of your lines with an ink pen. This adds definition to the picture. Be patient with this process and be as accurate and careful as possible. Once the ink has dried, take your eraser and run it across the drawing to erase the pencil lines.
-
8
Use your crayons or markers to color his body. White and black can be used to complete his eyes, while brown finishes his fur color. The inside of his ears and his nose can be red or pink while the inside of the mouth can be black.

Tips & Warnings
Print out a picture of Taz and use it to compare your drawing. It can help you fix any inaccuracies you may find sketching from memory.
Patience is important in drawing. Adjust your pencil drawings as much as you need to before inking since it can't be erased.
