How to Load Paper Into a Canon Adding Machine

Canon adding machines are calculators that print as you calculate. They offer the ability to print your calculations for your records or other uses. Canon adding machines use rolls of paper that fit in the unit. It's important to check your machine or owner's manual to purchase the correct size replacement roll. When the current roll of paper runs out, you must replace it with a new roll of paper to continue printing.

Instructions

1. Lift the paper arm. Slide the old roll of paper plastic cartridge off the holder arm. Discard the plastic roll.

2. Cut the edge of the new paper roll so that the edge is angled. Slide the roll of paper onto the paper arm. The edge of the paper roll should be positioned facing the unit.

3. Slide the paper into the slot located on the back of the adding machine. Press the "Feed" button repeatedly to advance the paper through the machine. Lower the paper roll arm. The paper is now loaded and ready for use.
