How to Backup Linux Wth Acronis

Acronis True Image is a backup and drive imaging softare developed for the Linux and Windows platforms. True Image allows you to take a copy of an entire Linux hard drive from the Acronis wizard, which operates from a GUI-driven Wizard interface. You will need to have room on an existing hard drive to store your secure backup.

      Open "Acronis True Image" from your Linux distribution's "Applications" menu.

      Click "Create Secure Zone" and click "Next."

      Click a drive with free disk space and click "Next."

      Choose the amount of space to use, a minimum will be suggested. Use at least this amount of space to ensure you can hold a drive image.

      Click "Take a Backup."

      Choose the Linux partition(s) you would like to back up from the disk selection menu by clicking them.

      Click "Next." Your hard drive data will be imaged, compressed and stored in the Secure Zone you created.
