How to Sync a Palm to an iPod

Get the Palm Desktop

Download the Palm Desktop application from the Palm website. The software allows you to sync your Palm device with your computer. (See References)

Install the software on your computer.

Connect your Palm device to the computer using the USB accessory cord that came with the device.

Follow the on-screen prompts to sync your Palm with your computer.

Download the Palm2iPod plug-in, which works with Palm Desktop software.

Follow the prompts to install the plug-in to your Palm Desktop.

Connect your iPod to the computer using the cord provided with the device.

Close iTunes when it automatically opens.

Open the plug-in, choose the "Sync" option and select the iPod device. Address book and calendar data from the Palm will be synced to the iPod.
