How to Run Notepad.exe

Notepad.exe is the file name of Windows Notepad, which is a lightweight text editor that comes pre-installed with all versions of Microsoft Windows. Microsoft designed this application to allow quick creation of unformatted text documents. Notepad features some basic functions, such as inserting the current date and time, finding and replacing words or strings and counting the number of lines the text document is using. You can do these basic tasks with Notepad as soon as you run Notepad.exe.
