How to Beat the Hoth Battle on LEGO Star Wars
"LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy" re-creates the original film trilogy from George Lucas using the popular children's block toys. You can play as the LEGO version of such characters as Luke Skywalker and Han Solo as they traverse levels based on scenes from the movies. The Hoth battle opens "The Empire Strikes Back" portion of the game, and you must fly a snowspeeder to defeat Empire enemies and destroy walls to advance to the next level.

Grab a bomb near the beginning of the level. You can identify these round black objects by the red arrows pointing to them.

Tow the bomb to the gate at the end of this first path and let it roll into the structure, blowing it up. Along the way you will have to avoid Probe Droids and AT-STs. If your bomb keeps rolling into enemies, try shooting them down first, and then towing the bomb to the gate.

Defeat the two AT-ATs in the next area just as they do in the movie. Press the "X" button to wrap a tow cable around an AT-AT, and then fly in circles around it. This will cause the AT-AT to trip and fall. Once an AT-AT falls, tow a bomb and roll it into the AT-AT to blow it up.

Blow up a gate in this second area to advance. This section is trickier because the corridor is narrower at the end, and it's easy to roll the bomb into a wall instead of the desired gate. Take your time as there are no Probe Droids in this area.

Defeat a list of enemies in the third area to finish the level. The enemies you must destroy in the final battle are pictured on the screen. These include 11 Probe Droids, 11 AT-STs, two AT-ATs, and a final grouping of four Probe Droids, six AT-STs and one AT-AT. Shoot down the Probe Droids and AT-STs with your snowspeeder's blasters and use the tow cable/bomb combination on the AT-ATs as before.
