How to Configure a 3347-ENT Modem for Qwest DSL

The Motorola 3347-ENT modem is a DSL modem provided by Qwest. A Digital Subscriber Line, or DSL, transfers data over phone lines and then uses a modem to convert that data to high-speed Internet. The only real configuration the Motorola---sometimes called Netopia---3347 modem needs to work with Qwest is to connect the wires and add the PPP username and password to the router. PPP stands for "point-to-point protocol" and is a connection type that requires a username and password.
